10 Ways Entrepreneurs Can Create More Cash In Less Time

Copy of Create Your First Online Course (2) Sometimes, as coaches, consultants, trainers, we get in our own way. We tend to make business and creating cash flow so much harder on ourselves OR we don’t always make the most of the content we already have. But any time you can work once and get paid on it over and over – you are working so much smarter.

And that’s why I’m here – to help you work smarter!

When I need an extra boost in my cash flow I do one or a couple of these things below.  These will help you either generate quick cash OR create multiple streams of revenue with one source of content (again working smarter).

  1. Sell 10 60-90 minute private sessions – If you already sell coaching packages then a quick way to generate cash is to sell a small package based on one specific topic or result. This can bring in a wave of new clients.
  2. Put together a 10 or 14 day challenge – Challenges are so fun because they work well to help clients get results fast. BUT you have to make sure you have a narrow topic with a main point or end result for the challenge. An example might be to get your first client in 14 days.
  3. Create a 4 week live bootcamp – I love doing these. If you already have an idea of what you could do then you don’t need to do anything but sell the spots and then create the content as you go.
  4. Take the recordings from your challenge and your bootcamp and you have two digital courses you can sell! BAM and done.
  5. Listen and take good notes on those 60-90 minute private sessions I mentioned above, identify common problems and then create a 12 week DIY study course on it.
  6. Upsell 1-2-1 private coaching upon the purchase of your 12 week DIY study course.
  7. Host a free webinar on a hot topic in your industry – leave nothing out – and then turn around and sell it.
  8. Create a library of training’s and charge access to it (even on a monthly basis – instant membership site)!
  9. Create small group masterminds around one solution you provide that last 12-24 weeks (depending on the topic). Keeping it small makes it personable and result oriented.
  10. Turn any piece of highly popular content you have into a digital product and let your email list know about it today.

Do you see how you may have been over-complicating digital product creation? Do you believe you can get one of these up and running now? I hope so. Let me know which one resonates with you!

How To Stop Thinking About Creating Your First Online Course (And Start Doing it)

STOP THINKINGSTART DOING[ONLINE COURSES]
Have you been thinking about creating your own online course for…ages? Yeah, I’ve been there!

It’s very common for people to think and think and think without taking any action. Why? Well, because we are our own worst enemies that’s why!

In our minds, we KNOW that creating a digital product is a GREAT idea. We’ve all heard about the many benefits of creating a digital products…

  • Create more freedom in your business and life (passive income! get paid while you sleep!)
  • Do the work once and get paid over and over again (work smarter)
  • Reach and impact more people (do work that makes an impact)

These things are all TRUE! Yet, we still procrastinate and put it off until the time is right.

But guess what?

The time will NEVER be right.

It’s just like saying that you’re waiting for the right time to get married, have kids, or go back to school. The point is – you’ll never be FULLY prepared. All you can do is prepare well enough and then go for it.

If you are hemming and hawing about creating your first online course or program it’s because you are unsure and uncertain, which is usually the way fear shows up for most of us.

We are scared that people won’t buy. We are afraid of feeling like a failure. So we ask ourselves questions like…is this even worth it? What if nobody is interested? What if I launch to crickets?

Have you ever said these things to yourself? Yeah, me too.

But here’s the thing…you will NEVER know for sure unless you try soooo go out there and give it all you got.

Here is what you should be thinking instead…

Revenue

What would adding an extra stream of revenue do to your bottom line?

Do a quick math calculation and you’ll soon see the potential there is in creating one course and selling just one per day.

$297 x 365 = $108,405

Could you use an extra 100K this year? Umm yeah me too! What if you sold more than one course or a higher priced course? Oh the potential!

Research

You must do some research so you can quiet those voices in your head that say or wonder if people will buy.

You have to know the following things before you get started:

  • Who is your ideal customer?
  • What is their biggest problem?
  • How are you going to solve it?

Okay you know who your targeting and what problem you’re solving…

Now… get it out in front of your ideal customers so you can test the idea and then tweak it from there.

So how do you stop thinking so much and starting creating? Take inspired action. If you feel like you can do it right now then move on those feelings and start creating something – anything – right now!

I hope this post has at least motivated you to do what you know you should do anyway. 🙂

Closed or Evergreen Online Courses?

CLOSED DOOR OR EVERGREEN--- When you first start creating courses you might wonder if you should leave the course open (evergreen) or if you should close the ‘doors’ and only open them a couple of times per year.

I know I’ve felt frustrated and unsure about which way to go in my biz before. Have you?

So which one should you choose?

Well, I think it depends on your goal, it depends on your style and it depends on the type of content you are creating.  Ultimately,  I think it’s important to have both in your business.

Let’s take a closer look at each of them…

Closed Door

This type of course is based around the typical launch. You open on a said date and then close in one or two weeks from the open date. These can be fun (and stressful) to create and launch because you are building buzz and you have a limited time frame so your ideal customers are excited and signing up. It can also be a great income boost in a short period of time. The built in limited time only scenario can really work to your advantage.

The only problem is – what if you don’t create enough buzz and you’re left with little customers and little money. That’s no fun, right?!

Since you closed the doors, you typically won’t open them for a little while. However, if it wasn’t a big launch you could open the doors back up in a couple of weeks (since it wasn’t a big launch most people will not notice).

But what if you don’t want to launch the typical way?  What if you are not sure if you can pull off a big launch? What if you want sales every day?

That’s where evergreen courses come into play!

Evergreen

This type of course is always available to purchase. This works really well for timeless type of content. So something that doesn’t have to be updated constantly (like social media training or something like that). Instead of limiting the time frame you might want to limit how many bonuses the customer will get or even increase the price within a certain time.

Having an evergreen product will help you create a steady stream of income. AND when you add things like Facebook ads into the mix then you can truly put this stream of income on autopilot allowing you do to other income producing activities!

You could also start off as closed door and then turn it into an evergreen course – as long as the information is timeless that is.

I’d love to know which one you are working on or which you prefer. Let me know in the comments below!

I’m getting ready to open up Rock Your Course soon! If you’re ready to create your course then sign up here to be notified!

7 Powerful Ways To Use Private Label Rights Content In Your Biz

PLR Content - No Need To Reinvent The Wheel I’ve heard successful business people say that PLR is crap. Actually someone (big name) told me he would never recommend anyone use it.

I get that PLR has gotten a bad name over the years (even though it has gotten a MUCH better reputation over the last few years due to stellar PLR producers like AliceRuth, Peggy and many more).

I find that really funny/strange because private labeling is HUGE outside of the internet marketing world. You will find many companies offering private labels for various tangible products.

The thing is most ‘guru’s’ will tell you NOT to reinvent the wheel. AND that’s the exact point I want to make about using PLR content. You don’t have to reinvent the wheel!

The key to having success with PLR content is to use it to back up the knowledge you already have. So let’s say you are a health coach or something like that. You already have the knowledge and expertise…why waste time reinventing the wheel? Why waste time putting together your products, programs and services by starting completely from scratch? You shouldn’t. You should find PLR content that is similar to your expertise and tweak it so that you can get your stuff out into the world MUCH faster!

7 Powerful Ways To Use PLR Content

1. Support Your Expertise – So the very first powerful way to use PLR content is to use it to support your knowledge and expertise. If you want to create a program on setting up a WordPress blog then find PLR that already spells it all out. You are the expert so go through the content and fix what needs fixing, add to parts that need more information, take out any unnecessary info, etc.

2. Social Media – Take little bits of information and use it to post to your Facebook page, Twitter, and Google+ accounts. This is a great way to keep people you are connected with engaged with you and your brand.

3. Freebies – Giving away content is a great way to get people to learn more about who you are and what you do. PLR content makes it that much easier to get info out!

4. Create a Webinar – Just put your content into slides and you can quickly create an event like a webinar to teach, support, or connect with your market.

5. Self Pubish on Amazon – Use PLR content to self publish on Kindle or even publish your own book on Amazon. Again this reinforces your brand.

6. Email Marketing – I LOVE using PLR content in emails because it’s super easy to do. This also helps you stay connected and helps people remember who you are.

7. Podcast or Web TV show – Use PLR content to create a podcast or web TV show so that you will always have something to say.

Good PLR also gives you ideas of what to talk and write about.  The bottom line here is that there is nothing new under the sun. Using PLR content is just a powerful way to get content out to your ideal market that much faster.

So what’s stopping you from using PLR? Or if you do use it please let us know how you use it in your biz!
